The Void of Course Moon is the period of time after the Moon has made its last aspect in one sign until the Moon enters a new sign. During the Void of Course Moon periods, it is generally wise to stick to routine rather than to begin new projects.
The last aspect the Moon makes before changing signs is indicated here and is indicative of the “outcome” of the matter (whether that is a new project begun before the void period or the answer to a question in Horary Astrology).
Void of Course in Horary Astrology: If you were asking a question and making a chart to determine the answer, as you do in Horary astrology, it is said that since the Moon is not looking forward to any more aspects in this sign, you would have to say that the answer is not forthcoming; any questions asked at this time would not come to pass.
The Moon being Void is one of the Structures against Judgment in Horary Astrology. The following tables incorporate the modern planets, but some astrologers do not count Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto in void Moon calculations.
When the Moon is in Leo
The Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, whole-heartedly loving position. Pride keeps us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and revealing how we are truly feeling. We are on stage, our feelings are grand, and we appreciate some drama in our lives. We are easily threatened by anything that seems to be impersonal. This is a time when we seek attention--when we want to stand out for our special qualities. It's a strong time for romance and any creative activity as well.
The Moon in Leo generally favors the following activities: Creative activities, activities involving children, generous undertakings, undertakings in which personal recognition is desired, and risk-taking.
When the Moon is in Virgo
We instinctually gravitate towards practical activities under the influence of a Virgo Moon. In an urge to set things right, we might easily find ourselves re-organizing and rethinking plans. Emotional satisfaction comes from solving problems, making order out of confusion, and helping others. Health matters might come into focus. We notice the smaller parts that make up the whole, and instead of letting nagging details bother us, we might work on ironing them out so that we can feel more confident moving ahead.

When the Moon is in Libra
Creating order is the focus, not necessarily through tidying or organizing as was the case while the Moon was in Virgo, but rather through pleasing interactions with others and aesthetics in our environment. We tend to solve problems through diplomacy, and we are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we crave. The tendency now is to avoid direct confrontations. Decisions do not come easily. Seeing both sides to any given situation is the main reason for hesitation. Fear of losing others' approval is another.
The Moon in Libra generally favors the following activities: Relationship and partnership issues, activities involving teamwork and cooperation, activities that involve self-examination, activities related to beauty.
When the Moon is in Scorpio
Intensity is what the Moon in Scorpio is all about. Whether it's passion, elation, sorrow, or desire, emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things, and we instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power, and it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. It can be an intimate and passionate time. Avoid manipulative tactics, brooding, and suspiciousness.
The Moon in Scorpio generally favors the following activities: Taxes, accounting, intimacy issues, psychological examinations, research, self-examination, getting rid of old things.
When the Moon is in Sagittarius
The Moon is at her most optimistic and upbeat in Sagittarius. We are motivated by a need to seek the truth, and we are ready to pursue a new vision. We are not interested in details just now. Instead, we focus on the big picture. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. Spontaneity is the key. We may also be inclined toward overdoing and overstating. We don't want to plan ahead, and prefer to "wing it".

We become aware of the need for structure and planning ahead. We also instinctively are aware of the limitations of time. We are motivated by a desire for success. However, it can also be a productive time when we look reality in the eye.

Attraction to all that is new and unusual, and an instinctive need for improvement, characterize the Moon in Aquarius. As it orbits the Sun, Venus shows phases like the Moon. When it is closest to the Earth, passing between us and the Sun, Venus appears almost entirely unilluminated. When it passes around the far side of the Sun, its disk appears almost completely illuminated. When it is prominent in the morning or evening sky, Venus is around half phase.

LE STYLE DE NOTRE CALENDRIER
Notre calendrier actuel est le calendrier grégorien, il utilise l’ère de l’Incarnation et le style de la Circoncision (ou style du premier janvier).
L’ère de l’incarnation (AD – Anno Domini), basée sur l’année hypothétique de la naissance du Christ, a été introduite en 532 par le moine scythe Denys le Petit (v. 500 – 545) dans son comput des tables pascales. Denys le Petit fixe la naissance du Christ au 25 décembre 753 de la fondation de Rome (AUC – Ab Urbe condita). Par la suite, le début de l’ère sera ramené au premier janvier 754 AUC, pour la rendre compatible avec le décompte des millésimes. L’usage de cette pratique s’est imposé lentement au cours des siècles, d’abord dans le monde anglo-saxon, où les actes les plus anciens remontent à la fin du VIIe siècle. Il sera popularisé par les écrits de Bède le Vénérable, notamment dans son ouvrage De Ratione Temporum (725). En France, son usage dans les actes royaux n’apparaît qu’au cours du IXe siècle (diplôme de Pépin II d’Aquitaine, 839).
La date de changement de millésime porte le nom de style du calendrier. Au cours des siècles passés, plusieurs styles furent en usage, parfois simultanément !
On distingue les styles suivants :
- Le style du 1er mars, à Rome avant la réforme du calendrier par César, chez les Mérovingiens au VIe-VIIe siècle.
- Le style du printemps (21-22 mars), en Russie depuis le XIe siècle jusqu’en 1725.
- Le style de l’Annonciation, le 25 mars, en Angleterre jusqu’en 1752.
- Le style de la Résurrection (nuit de Pâques) : l’année avait une longueur variable de 330 à 400 jours, avec parfois deux mois d’avril ! En France, sous Louis VI, puis au XIIe-XIIIe siècle.
- Le style de l’Ascension, à Alexandrie.
- Le style Grec, le 1er septembre.
- Le style Républicain, le jour de l’équinoxe d’automne à Paris dans le calendrier Républicain.
- Le style de la Saint Martin, le 11 novembre.
- Le style de la Nativité, le 25 décembre, sous Charlemagne et jusqu’au XIe siècle, en Bourgogne jusqu’au XIIIe siècle.
- Le style du solstice d’hiver, dans le calendrier lunaire gaulois.
- Le style du premier janvier.
On lit souvent que l’usage en France du style du premier janvier, ou style de la Circoncision, date du XVIe siècle, suite à l’édit de Roussillon (article 39 et dernier) promulgué par Charles IX le 9 août 1564. En réalité, selon Alexandre Le Noble, ce serait l’édit de Paris de janvier 1563 qui a promulgué cet usage, l’article 39 de l’édit de Roussillon ne faisant que reprendre l’édit de Paris.
Cette réforme ne s’appliqua que progressivement, au fur et à mesure que les parlements régionaux l’entérinèrent. Ainsi, le parlement de Paris et la Chancellerie ne l’appliquèrent qu’en 1567.
En Angleterre, le style du premier janvier fut adopté en même temps que le calendrier grégorien, en 1752, suite à la réforme proposée par Lord Chesterfield (Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4e comte de Chesterfield).
On trouvera en lien un calendrier pour l’année 2023. Ce calendrier donne, pour chaque jour de l’année 2022, les instants des levers et des couchers du centre du Soleil et du centre de la Lune en Temps légal français. Les calculs sont faits pour la latitude et la longitude de l’observatoire de Paris, pour un horizon plat, et la réfraction horizontale est prise égale à 36,6′.
On donne également les différentes phases de la Lune et les dates des équinoxes et des solstices. On fournit au verso de chaque page les phénomènes astronomiques du mois, les instants sont donnés en Temps légal français. Puis, dans les dernières pages, on fournit les dates des fêtes légales et religieuses dans différents calendriers ainsi que les concordances entre ces calendriers.
CALENDRIER CHINOIS TRADITIONNEL :NOUVEL AN LE 22 JANVIER 2023
Cette année, l’année lunaire chinoise (年 nián) commence le dimanche 22 janvier 2023 et se termine le vendredi 9 février 2024.
Cette année lunaire est une année embolismique (閏年) de 13 mois lunaires. C’est une année dite « double printemps » (shuāng chūn : 雙春 [双春]), car elle contient deux fois le jié qì : lìchūn 立春, début du printemps. C’est une année 癸卯 (guǐ mǎo) qui correspond à la branche terrestre 卯 (mǎo) associée au signe du Lapin 兔 (tù) et au tronc céleste 癸 (guǐ) associé à l’élément Eau 水 (shuǐ).
L’année solaire (歲岁 suì) est une année abondante de douze mois lunaires. Elle commence au solstice d’hiver (冬至 dōng zhì) du 22 décembre 2022 et se termine le 21 décembre 2023, veille du solstice d’hiver suivant (冬至 dōng zhì).
PASSAGE DE LA TERRE AU PÉRIHÉLIE EN 2023
En 2023 la Terre passera au périhélie le mercredi 4 janvier à 16 h 17 min 28 s UTC (17 h 17 min 28 s en Temps légal français). La distance du centre de la Terre au centre du Soleil sera alors de 147 098 924,694 km et le diamètre apparent géocentrique du Soleil sera de 32′ 31,87″.
Suite à la seconde loi de Kepler (loi des aires), la vitesse angulaire de la Terre est maximale lorsqu’elle passe au périhélie, c’est pourquoi l’hiver est actuellement la saison la plus courte dans l’hémisphère nord.

Sous l’effet des perturbations planétaires, le périhélie avance dans le sens direct d’environ 11,612 35″ par année julienne. L’axe des apsides fait donc un tour en environ 111 915 années juliennes. Comme la droite des équinoxes tourne d’environ 50,387 92″ par an dans le sens rétrograde, les deux axes sont confondus toutes les 20 903 années juliennes, cette période porte le nom de précession climatique. En effet, tous les 10 451,5 ans (demi-période de la précession climatique), l’aphélie passe du solstice l’été au solstice d’hiver. Or, même si la distance Terre-Soleil n’est pas le facteur prédominant dans la nature des saisons, la combinaison du passage de la Terre à l’aphélie en hiver donne des hivers plus rudes.
Actuellement, la direction du périhélie se rapproche de l’équinoxe de printemps, qu’elle atteindra le 24 juin 6430. À partir de cette année, l’hiver ne sera plus la saison la plus courte dans l’hémisphère nord, mais ce sera progressivement le printemps.
Le graphique ci-dessus donne l’évolution de la durée des saisons sur une période de 6 000 ans, allant de l’an − 3000 à l’an 3000. On remarque qu’en − 330 (331 av. J.-C.), à l’époque de Callippe de Cyzique (vers 370 av. J.-C. – vers 310 av. J.-C.), l’hiver n’était pas la saison la plus courte, c’était l’automne. Sur cette période de 6 000 ans, les durées de l’été et de l’hiver ont été égales en − 1404, l’automne a eu une durée minimale de 88,37 jours en − 1641 et le printemps a eu une durée maximale de 94,31 jours en − 1604.

L'Allemagne est sous pression pour permettre à l'Ukraine de recevoir ses fameux chars Leopard.
Kyiv (Ukraine) (AFP) - L'Allemagne a fait face à une vive réaction de la part de ses alliés samedi après son refus de fournir à l'Ukraine ses fameux chars Leopard pour renforcer sa capacité de combat dans la guerre de près d'un an avec la Russie.
Vendredi, une cinquantaine de pays ont accepté de fournir à Kyiv des milliards de dollars de matériel militaire, y compris des véhicules blindés et des munitions nécessaires pour repousser les forces russes.
Mais le ministre allemand de la Défense, Boris Pistorius, a déclaré aux journalistes en marge de l'événement à la base aérienne américaine de Ramstein que malgré les attentes accrues, "nous ne pouvons toujours pas dire quand une décision sera prise, et quelle sera la décision, en ce qui concerne le Leopard. Char."
L'Ukraine a dénoncé samedi "l'indécision mondiale" de ses alliés sur la fourniture de chars modernes lourds, affirmant que "l'indécision d'aujourd'hui tue davantage notre peuple".
« Chaque jour de retard est la mort d'Ukrainiens. Pensez plus vite », a tweeté le conseiller présidentiel Mykhailo Podolyak.
Plusieurs alliés ont fait écho au président ukrainien Volodymyr Zelensky en disant que les chars étaient essentiels au combat de l'Ukraine avec son voisin beaucoup plus grand.
Dans une déclaration commune - et une rare critique publique de la première puissance européenne - les ministres des Affaires étrangères des trois États baltes ont déclaré qu'ils "appellent l'Allemagne à fournir maintenant des chars Leopard à l'Ukraine".
«Cela est nécessaire pour arrêter l'agression russe, aider l'Ukraine et rétablir rapidement la paix en Europe. L'Allemagne, en tant que première puissance européenne, a une responsabilité particulière à cet égard », indique le communiqué, tweeté par le ministre letton des Affaires étrangères, Edgars Rinkevics.

Berlin a hésité à envoyer les Léopards ou à permettre à d'autres nations de les transférer à Kyiv, des informations publiées plus tôt dans la semaine indiquant qu'elle n'accepterait de le faire que si les États-Unis fournissaient également ses chars. Washington a déclaré qu'il n'était pas possible de fournir ses chars Abrams à l'Ukraine, citant des difficultés de formation et de maintenance.
Mais avant la réunion du Groupe de contact sur l'Ukraine vendredi avec une cinquantaine de pays dirigés par les États-Unis, on s'attendait à ce que l'Allemagne accepte au moins de laisser d'autres pays exploitant des Léopards les transférer à l'armée de Kyiv.
Le sénateur américain Lindsey Graham, un républicain de Caroline du Sud actuellement en visite à Kyiv, a appelé les deux parties à fournir les machines.
« Aux Allemands : Envoyez des chars en Ukraine car ils en ont besoin. C'est dans votre propre intérêt national que (le président russe Vladimir) Poutine perde en Ukraine.
"A l'administration (du président américain Joe) Biden : envoyez des chars américains pour que d'autres suivent notre exemple", a-t-il déclaré.
Les appels sont intervenus alors que l'armée russe a déclaré que ses troupes avaient lancé une offensive dans la région ukrainienne de Zaporizhzhia, où les combats se sont intensifiés cette semaine après plusieurs mois d'un front presque gelé.
Dans son rapport quotidien de samedi, les forces de Moscou ont déclaré avoir mené des "opérations offensives" dans la région et affirmé avoir "pris des lignes et des positions plus avantageuses".

Une grande partie de l'Ukraine a été décimée pendant 11 mois de guerre contre la Russie.
Samedi à Kyiv, Zelensky a assisté aux funérailles de son ministre de l'Intérieur et d'autres responsables qui ont été tués mercredi dans un accident d'hélicoptère à l'extérieur de la capitale.
Denys Monastyrsky, l'un des principaux assistants de Zelensky, est devenu le plus haut responsable ukrainien à mourir dans la guerre que la Russie a lancée le 24 février 2022.
La cause de l'accident qui l'a tué ainsi que 13 autres personnes lorsque l'hélicoptère est tombé près d'un jardin d'enfants faisait toujours l'objet d'une enquête.
Les responsables américains ont déclaré que l'Ukraine était toujours confrontée à une bataille difficile contre les forces russes qui occupent toujours un cinquième du pays 11 mois après l'invasion.
Mais ils ont évoqué une éventuelle campagne dans les semaines à venir de l'Ukraine pour reprendre des parties de son territoire.
Le président des chefs d'état-major américains, le général Mark Milley, a souligné la quantité substantielle d'équipements - en grande partie des véhicules blindés et de l'artillerie - que l'Ukraine était promise à Ramstein, ainsi que la formation à grande échelle de ses forces par les alliés.
"Je pense qu'il est très possible pour les Ukrainiens de mener une opération offensive significative au niveau tactique ou même opérationnel pour libérer autant de territoire ukrainien que possible", a déclaré Milley.
Mais le Kremlin a averti vendredi que les chars occidentaux ne feraient que peu de différence sur le champ de bataille.
"Il ne faut pas exagérer l'importance de ces fournitures en termes de capacité à changer quelque chose", a déclaré le porte-parole du Kremlin, Dmitri Peskov, aux journalistes.
