Origine du mois de fevrier
Le mois de février, deuxième mois du calendrier, compte 28 ou 29 jours selon l'année. Le mot février provient du latin februarius, dérivé du terme februare qui signifie purification, en référence au rituel de purification Februa qui avait lieu le 15 du mois dans l'ancien calendrier lunaire romain. Lors des années bissextiles, le mois débute et se termine le même jour de la semaine.

Des victimes s'échouent après un naufrage meurtrier en Italie

Des corps, des chaussures et des débris se sont échoués le long d'un tronçon du littoral du sud de l'Italie après le naufrage d'un bateau de migrants
Cutro (Italie) (AFP) - Les garde-côtes italiens ont fouillé lundi la mer et les plages à la recherche de corps à la suite d'un naufrage au large de la Calabre.
Le bateau en bois surchargé s'est brisé et a coulé tôt dimanche dans une mer orageuse au large de la côte sud de l'Italie, avec des corps, des chaussures et des débris échoués le long d'une longue bande de rivage.
Le nombre de morts s'est élevé lundi à 62, a déclaré un responsable des garde-côtes à l'AFP – et ce nombre devrait augmenter.
Sergio di Dato, chef de l'équipe de Médecins sans frontières (MSF) offrant un soutien psychologique aux survivants, a déclaré qu'il y avait des cas d'enfants orphelins dans la catastrophe.
"Un garçon afghan de 12 ans a perdu toute sa famille, tous les neuf - quatre frères et sœurs, ses parents et d'autres parents très proches", a-t-il déclaré aux journalistes.
Les pompiers de la ville de Cutro ont préparé un hors-bord pour une nouvelle recherche de la zone alors que des hélicoptères survolaient.
Save the Children a déclaré qu'il y avait de nombreux mineurs disparus.
Au Castella, où une forteresse du XVe siècle domine le littoral, un journaliste de l'AFP a vu les garde-côtes récupérer le corps d'une femme qui semblait avoir une vingtaine d'années.
L'association caritative Save the Children a déclaré sur Twitter qu'elle soutenait des survivants d'Afghanistan, du Pakistan, de Somalie et de Syrie, dont 10 mineurs qui voyageaient avec leur famille.
"Il y a beaucoup de mineurs disparus", écrit-il.

L'organisme de bienfaisance a déclaré que les survivants ont décrit comment "pendant la nuit, près de la côte, ils ont entendu un fort boum, le bateau s'est cassé et ils sont tous tombés à l'eau".
Les survivants étaient « sous le choc… certains disent avoir vu des proches tomber à l'eau et disparaître, ou mourir ».
Le bateau aurait quitté Izmir en Turquie la semaine dernière. Trois trafiquants d'êtres humains présumés ont été arrêtés et la police en recherchait un quatrième, ont rapporté les médias lundi.
David Morabito, un plongeur-sauveteur en Calabre, a déclaré à la chaîne de télévision publique Rai qu'il avait récupéré les corps de jeunes jumeaux dans l'eau.
"Quand vous voyez les petits corps sans vie d'enfants, ces images vous transpercent le cœur", a déclaré Morabito.
« Tant d'enfants morts. Une tragédie », a-t-il ajouté.
La catastrophe a encore alimenté le débat en Italie sur les mesures de recherche et de sauvetage pour sauver les migrants qui rencontrent des problèmes sur la route de la Méditerranée centrale, qui est la plus meurtrière au monde.
La Première ministre d'extrême droite Giorgia Meloni, élue en septembre, s'est engagée à freiner les arrivées de migrants.
Son gouvernement a fait adopter une loi controversée la semaine dernière qui oblige les organisations caritatives d'aide aux migrants à n'effectuer qu'une seule mission de sauvetage à la fois avant de se diriger directement vers les ports, qui sont souvent éloignés.
Les critiques disent que la mesure viole le droit international et entraînera la noyade de plus de personnes.
Une grande partie des personnes cherchant à rejoindre l'Europe traversent la Méditerranée de l'Afrique à l'Italie.
Selon le ministère de l'Intérieur, près de 14 000 migrants sont arrivés en Italie par la mer jusqu'à présent cette année, contre 5 200 au cours de la même période l'an dernier.
