We’re more likely to seek feedback or someone with whom to share ideas and feelings. We’re idealistic and considerate. It’s a time of the lunar month when we more readily see different sides to a story, which can lead to more indecision than usual. The Sun is heading into alignment with the True North Node of the Moon, exact early tomorrow, encouraging and perhaps challenging us to grow, improve, and aspire to our goals. When do retrogrades occur, and in what sign? The following tables and images show the planets and bodies (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) and their astrological retrograde cycles by date and sign, from retrograde to direct.
A station is defined from the point of view of the Earth; it is the point when a planet appears to stop moving in the sky. The planet then appears to move slowly in the opposite direction; at this point, the planet is considered Stationary Retrograde. Similarly, once the planet makes a Station (stops) and begins to go forward again, this is called Stationary Direct.
The following shows current and upcoming Retrograde cycles of the planets. Note that the Sun and the Moon never retrograde. Dates given reveal not only the Retrograde periods, but also the Retrograde zones or shadows.
This page gives dates and times when a planet enters the retrograde zone/shadow, is stationary retrograde, is stationary direct, and leaves the retrograde zone/shadow. Retrograde zones are longer periods of time and encompass the entire period of the zodiac degrees affected by the retrograde.

Paris (AFP) - Une équipe internationale d'astronomes a dévoilé jeudi la première image d'un trou noir supermassif au centre de notre propre galaxie, la Voie lactée, un corps cosmique connu sous le nom de Sagittaire A.
L'image – produite par une équipe mondiale de scientifiques connue sous le nom de collaboration Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) – est la première confirmation visuelle directe de la présence de cet objet invisible, et survient trois ans après la toute première image d'un trou noir de une galaxie lointaine.
"Depuis des décennies, nous connaissons un objet compact qui se trouve au cœur de notre galaxie et qui est quatre millions de fois plus massif que notre Soleil", a déclaré l'astronome de l'Université de Harvard, Sara Issaoun, lors d'une conférence de presse à Garching, en Allemagne, tenue simultanément avec d'autres médias. événements à travers le monde.

"Ces observations sans précédent ont considérablement amélioré notre compréhension de ce qui se passe au centre même de notre galaxie", a déclaré Geoffrey Bower, scientifique du projet EHT, de l'Academia Sinica de Taïwan, dans un communiqué.
Les résultats de la recherche sont publiés dans The Astrophysical Journal Letters.
- Télescope virtuel -
Le Sagittaire A – abrégé en Sgr A , et prononcé « sadge-ay-star » – doit son nom à sa détection en direction de la constellation du Sagittaire.
Située à 27 000 années-lumière de la Terre, son existence est supposée depuis 1974, avec la détection d'une source radio inhabituelle au centre de la galaxie.

Dans les années 1990, les astronomes ont cartographié les orbites des étoiles les plus brillantes près du centre de la Voie lactée, confirmant la présence d'un objet compact supermassif là-bas - travail qui a conduit au prix Nobel de physique 2020.
Bien que la présence d'un trou noir ait été considérée comme la seule explication plausible, la nouvelle image fournit la première preuve visuelle directe.
Pour capturer des images d'un objet aussi lointain, il a fallu relier huit observatoires radio géants à travers la planète pour former un seul télescope virtuel "de la taille de la Terre" appelé EHT.
"L'EHT peut voir trois millions de fois plus net que l'œil humain", a déclaré aux journalistes le scientifique allemand Thomas Krichbaum de l'Institut Max Planck de radioastronomie.
"Ainsi, lorsque vous êtes assis dans un café en plein air de Munich, par exemple, on pourrait voir les bulles dans un verre de bière à New York."
L'EHT a regardé Sgr A pendant plusieurs nuits pendant plusieurs heures d'affilée – une idée similaire à la photographie à longue exposition et le même processus utilisé pour produire la première image d'un trou noir, publiée en 2019.
Ce trou noir s'appelle M87* car il se trouve dans la galaxie Messier 87.
- Einstein serait "extatique" -

Les deux trous noirs présentent des similitudes frappantes, malgré le fait que Sgr A* est 2 000 fois plus petit que M87 .
"Près du bord de ces trous noirs, ils se ressemblent étonnamment", a déclaré Sera Markoff, coprésidente du Conseil scientifique de l'EHT et professeur à l'Université d'Amsterdam.
Les deux se sont comportés comme prédit par la théorie de la relativité générale d'Einstein de 1915, qui soutient que la force de gravité résulte de la courbure de l'espace et du temps, et que les objets cosmiques modifient cette géométrie.
Malgré le fait que Sgr A soit beaucoup plus proche de nous, l'imagerie présentait des défis uniques.
Le gaz à proximité des deux trous noirs se déplace à la même vitesse, proche de la vitesse de la lumière. Mais alors qu'il a fallu des jours et des semaines pour orbiter le plus gros M87 , il a effectué des tours de Sgr A en quelques minutes seulement.
La luminosité et le motif du gaz autour de Sgr A * ont changé rapidement lorsque l'équipe l'a observé, "un peu comme essayer de prendre une photo claire d'un chiot poursuivant rapidement sa queue", a déclaré le scientifique EHT Chi-kwan Chan de l'Université d'Arizona. .
Les chercheurs ont dû développer de nouveaux outils complexes pour tenir compte des cibles mobiles.
L'image résultante - le travail de plus de 300 chercheurs dans 80 pays sur une période de cinq ans - est une moyenne de plusieurs images qui ont révélé le monstre invisible qui se cache au centre de la galaxie.
Les scientifiques sont maintenant impatients de comparer les deux trous noirs pour tester les théories sur le comportement des gaz autour d'eux – un phénomène mal compris qui jouerait un rôle dans la formation de nouvelles étoiles et galaxies.
Sonder les trous noirs - en particulier leurs centres infiniment petits et denses appelés singularités, où les équations d'Einstein se décomposent - pourrait aider les physiciens à approfondir leur compréhension de la gravité et à développer une théorie plus avancée.
« Et Einstein ? Sourirait-il en voyant toutes ces centaines de scientifiques ne lui ayant toujours pas donné tort ? » a déclaré Anton Zensus de l'Institut Max Planck.
"Je pense plutôt qu'il serait ravi de voir toutes les possibilités expérimentales que nous avons dans ce domaine aujourd'hui."

When do retrogrades occur, and in what sign? The following tables and images show the planets and bodies (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) and their astrological retrograde cycles by date and sign, from retrograde to direct.
A station is defined from the point of view of the Earth; it is the point when a planet appears to stop moving in the sky. The planet then appears to move slowly in the opposite direction; at this point, the planet is considered Stationary Retrograde. Similarly, once the planet makes a Station (stops) and begins to go forward again, this is called Stationary Direct.
The following shows current and upcoming Retrograde cycles of the planets. Note that the Sun and the Moon never retrograde. Dates given reveal not only the Retrograde periods, but also the Retrograde zones or shadows.

Paris (AFP) - Une équipe internationale d'astronomes a dévoilé jeudi la première image d'un trou noir supermassif au centre de notre propre galaxie, la Voie lactée, un corps cosmique connu sous le nom de Sagittaire A.
L'image – produite par une équipe mondiale de scientifiques connue sous le nom de collaboration Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) – est la première confirmation visuelle directe de la présence de cet objet invisible, et survient trois ans après la toute première image d'un trou noir de une galaxie lointaine.
"Depuis des décennies, nous connaissons un objet compact qui se trouve au cœur de notre galaxie et qui est quatre millions de fois plus massif que notre Soleil", a déclaré l'astronome de l'Université de Harvard, Sara Issaoun, lors d'une conférence de presse à Garching, en Allemagne, tenue simultanément avec d'autres médias. événements à travers le monde.
"Aujourd'hui, en ce moment même, nous avons des preuves directes que cet objet est un trou noir."
Les trous noirs sont des régions de l'espace où l'attraction de la gravité est si intense que rien ne peut s'en échapper, y compris la lumière.
L'image ne représente donc pas le trou noir lui-même, car il est complètement sombre, mais le gaz incandescent qui encercle le phénomène dans un anneau lumineux de lumière courbée.
Vu de la Terre, il apparaît de la même taille qu'un beignet à la surface de la Lune, a expliqué Issaoun.
"Ces observations sans précédent ont considérablement amélioré notre compréhension de ce qui se passe au centre même de notre galaxie", a déclaré Geoffrey Bower, scientifique du projet EHT, de l'Academia Sinica de Taïwan, dans un communiqué.
Les résultats de la recherche sont publiés dans The Astrophysical Journal Letters.
- Télescope virtuel -
Le Sagittaire A – abrégé en Sgr A , et prononcé « sadge-ay-star » – doit son nom à sa détection en direction de la constellation du Sagittaire.
Située à 27 000 années-lumière de la Terre, son existence est supposée depuis 1974, avec la détection d'une source radio inhabituelle au centre de la galaxie.

Dans les années 1990, les astronomes ont cartographié les orbites des étoiles les plus brillantes près du centre de la Voie lactée, confirmant la présence d'un objet compact supermassif là-bas - travail qui a conduit au prix Nobel de physique 2020.
Bien que la présence d'un trou noir ait été considérée comme la seule explication plausible, la nouvelle image fournit la première preuve visuelle directe.
Pour capturer des images d'un objet aussi lointain, il a fallu relier huit observatoires radio géants à travers la planète pour former un seul télescope virtuel "de la taille de la Terre" appelé EHT.
"L'EHT peut voir trois millions de fois plus net que l'œil humain", a déclaré aux journalistes le scientifique allemand Thomas Krichbaum de l'Institut Max Planck de radioastronomie.
"Ainsi, lorsque vous êtes assis dans un café en plein air de Munich, par exemple, on pourrait voir les bulles dans un verre de bière à New York."
L'EHT a regardé Sgr A pendant plusieurs nuits pendant plusieurs heures d'affilée – une idée similaire à la photographie à longue exposition et le même processus utilisé pour produire la première image d'un trou noir, publiée en 2019.
Ce trou noir s'appelle M87* car il se trouve dans la galaxie Messier 87.
- Einstein serait "extatique" -

Les deux trous noirs présentent des similitudes frappantes, malgré le fait que Sgr A* est 2 000 fois plus petit que M87 .
"Près du bord de ces trous noirs, ils se ressemblent étonnamment", a déclaré Sera Markoff, coprésidente du Conseil scientifique de l'EHT et professeur à l'Université d'Amsterdam.
Les deux se sont comportés comme prédit par la théorie de la relativité générale d'Einstein de 1915, qui soutient que la force de gravité résulte de la courbure de l'espace et du temps, et que les objets cosmiques modifient cette géométrie.
Malgré le fait que Sgr A soit beaucoup plus proche de nous, l'imagerie présentait des défis uniques.
Le gaz à proximité des deux trous noirs se déplace à la même vitesse, proche de la vitesse de la lumière. Mais alors qu'il a fallu des jours et des semaines pour orbiter le plus gros M87 , il a effectué des tours de Sgr A en quelques minutes seulement.
La luminosité et le motif du gaz autour de Sgr A * ont changé rapidement lorsque l'équipe l'a observé, "un peu comme essayer de prendre une photo claire d'un chiot poursuivant rapidement sa queue", a déclaré le scientifique EHT Chi-kwan Chan de l'Université d'Arizona. .
Les chercheurs ont dû développer de nouveaux outils complexes pour tenir compte des cibles mobiles.
L'image résultante - le travail de plus de 300 chercheurs dans 80 pays sur une période de cinq ans - est une moyenne de plusieurs images qui ont révélé le monstre invisible qui se cache au centre de la galaxie.
Les scientifiques sont maintenant impatients de comparer les deux trous noirs pour tester les théories sur le comportement des gaz autour d'eux – un phénomène mal compris qui jouerait un rôle dans la formation de nouvelles étoiles et galaxies.
Sonder les trous noirs - en particulier leurs centres infiniment petits et denses appelés singularités, où les équations d'Einstein se décomposent - pourrait aider les physiciens à approfondir leur compréhension de la gravité et à développer une théorie plus avancée.
« Et Einstein ? Sourirait-il en voyant toutes ces centaines de scientifiques ne lui ayant toujours pas donné tort ? » a déclaré Anton Zensus de l'Institut Max Planck.
"Je pense plutôt qu'il serait ravi de voir toutes les possibilités expérimentales que nous avons dans ce domaine aujourd'hui."
